As most know, people who are obsessed with the private bedroom activities of two consenting adults have a problem. In most cases, they have more than one problem.
Usually such people attempt to religiously justify their unhealthy obsession.
These people often talk about private bedroom activities, of others, in a public setting. Of course, in their hypocritical mindset, they would be offended if anyone asked them about their personal bedroom activities.
Quite frankly I feel sorry for such people and others who follow their lead.
But as a gay man I must personally thank these people. These people have been very good at furthering the LGBT civil rights movement.
You see, most of the people who follow such babblings are not freethinkers. In other words, they are still child like in many ways. And like children, when you tell them not to do something, they usually want to know why! In other words, the issue has been highlighted to many, who otherwise, may have never even thought about it!
So in this case, people are becoming more and more educated about homosexuality. This is a good thing.
I remind the religious, in the Bible, there are about 6 references which some consider related to homosexuality. The Bible also contains about 9 references to unicorns. The Bible also contains about 3000 references to the poor. I find it interesting so much attention is focused on the least mentioned biblical reference.
When was the last time you heard of a religious rally for the poor?
Below are two videos. One of ‘Pastor Dr. Martin Ssempa’ (of Uganda), once again, publicly sharing his unhealthy obsession and a second video, poking fun at the first video.

Christian Bigots Abound and Harm Humanity again and again and again
It’s kind of like punishing a child. When sent to their room, the child’s screams are loudest just before entering their room.
We all know Christianity and the bible was used to kill millions of people worldwide that would not convert to Christianity.
We all know Christianity and the bible was used to justify slavery. The bible even tells you what countries you may obtain slaves from and describes a slave owners’ relationship with *his slave plus more (*there weren’t any female slave owners since females were subservient to man).
We’ve all seen Christianity and the bible used to justify a woman’s second-class status.
We’ve all seen Christianity and the bible used to justify racial discrimination.
Now we are seeing Christianity and the bible used to justify LGBTQI second-class status.
Most activity of this type stems from what many of us would call the religious right (who, by the way, are always wrong).
It was the religious right that supported slavery (while the religious left, like the Quakers, fought to end it). It was the Bible belt that enforced Jim Crow laws, and it was the religious right that opposed integration and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Jerry Falwell used exactly the same language against integration that he later used against the LGBTQI community.
It was the religious right that opposed the Equal Rights Amendment, and as a result, women still earn less than men in many places.
As we can see, history clearly shows it is the religious right that has always been on the wrong side of every issue. From the religious leaders who opposed Jesus, to the Salem witch trials, to slavery, to integration, to interracial marriage, and now to Gay rights and marriage.
In every case, they claimed to have scripture on their side.
Now we see the worldwide head count of Christians diminishing. Of course this is to be expected. After all, time and time again the christian right has proven itself closed minded, biased, bigoted and unable to progress.
We live in a day where politicians think they can win by outing another candidate. Of course we have seen that backfire in most cases. In fact, the opposite effect is achieved. The bigot is simply exposing his bigotry.
We’ve all seen this type of logic before. Liars think everyone is a liar, in order to justify their own lying. These bigots are in the same boat. They feel everyone else is a bigot. This provides them 'justification' for their bigotry.
Human beings evolve and learn. The Christian right (always wrong) insults our intelligence by attempting to control us with their lies and attacks.
Unfortunately, for them, history along with current actions show us Christianity and the bible continue to be misued and abused by the bigots and small minded.
The sad truth is they are doing so much harm to Christianity. You’d think the 'good Christians' would stand up and speak loudly. Some do, but most don’t. I hope 'good Christians' can step up to the plate as the Quakers did so many years ago.
I say to those 'good Christians' who are remaining silent in the background that your religion is in need of your assistance. As the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stated "silence is betrayal".
Now we see the vocal right side of Christianity is the wrong side. If the good side of Christianity doesn’t stand up, Christianity will continue it’s journey into insignificance.
Silence = Death
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out.

Homosexuals, Uganda, Rick Warren, Rowan Williams and finger pointing
Years ago we’d often hear “a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty”.
Most of us know that is no longer the case for the general citizenry of our world. In fact, it would seem the opposite is true “guilty until proven innocent”.
Of course, this is unless you’re a politician, religious leader, rich or know the right people; in other words, if you are influential.
I exhibit, for an example, the current issue in Uganda. You know the issue about them passing a law making homosexuality a capital crime punishable by death. It even extends to the bizarre point of jailing citizens for knowing a homosexual without reporting them to officials.
All of a sudden we have media outlets pointing fingers at the influential for remaining silent on the Uganda issue.
Of course this is a religious based issue and much of the finger pointing is aimed that direction. The finger pointing is valid.
When the Rick Warren’s, Rowan William’s and countless other influential religious figures remain silent on humanity it speaks volumes about religion. Indeed it shows a side of religion which is not compassionate or loving!
For some reason, despite historical record [proof], people seem to think religion is guiltless.
By their silence, the religious are clearly chanting Death to Homosexuals.
Stop and think for a moment about the holocaust. Don’t think for a minute there weren’t people killed for being homosexual, who were not homosexual.
In other words, once you approve of mob rule you open the door. Then a pointing of the finger becomes something much more!

It's Free - Get It Now - Share It Often - The Blue Book
In my recent discussion with Paul and Hjordy Wagner (authors of "Ready or not, they're gay") they told me about "The Blue Book".
So I went to check it out and was surprised to find the website was the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, New York (PCMK.ORG). It always gives me a warm feeling to find a accepting church outside the realms of MCC, UUC and Dignity.
They even have a spanish version of "The Blue Book" available. Both the Spanish and English versions are free and available online in PDF format.
Simply click here to visit www.pcmk.org and once there, click on the picture of the blue book.

Absurdity: Catholic church blames gay community
Archbishop Silvano Tomasi, the Vatican's permanent observer to the UN, read out a statement after a meeting of the UN human rights council in Geneva.
He said: "Of all priests involved in the abuses, 80 to 90 per cent belong to this sexual orientation minority which is sexually engaged with adolescent boys between the ages of 11 and 17."
Tomasi added that it would be "more correct" to refer to ephebophilia, a homosexual attraction to adolescent males, than paedophilia.
The statement also attacked other religions, with Tomasi saying that most US churches embroiled in abuse scandals were Protestant, adding that the problem was also common in Jewish communities.
Mr. Tomasi, the men were catholic priests and that is the issue. Trying to point the finger in other directions does not change this fact.
Let us also remember the catholic church doesn’t allow female priests, it’s an “all male club”.
Since the catholic church seems to be confused let clarify some words:
Ephebophilia, is an attraction to post-pubescents, usually around the age of 18-20, which is what the term 'ephebe' meant in the original Athenian Greek (ephebic service was the obligatory two-year military training as citizen soldiers, undergone by all free-born Athenian men when they had reached the age of 18). Note, in most cases, this is not illegal since we are talking about individuals above the legal age of consent!
Hebephilia is an attraction to those undergoing puberty.
Pedophilia is an attraction to pre-pubescent children.
Mr. Tomasi please note these terms are not reserved for homosexuals. They apply regardless of sexuality or gender.
Mr. Tomasi’s statement also completely ignores the fact that many of the victims of catholic child abuse crimes were female – especially in Ireland.
Once again the church tries to downplay its responsibility.
Of course they will claim they are acting responsibly by their decision to disallow gay clergy. How does that protect the women who were abused?
How many members of the LGBTQIA community will now suffer harm at the hands of “devout catholics” (or others simply looking for an excuse to justify their bigotry/homophobia)?
Of course we are not surprised at these words from the catholic church, after all the pope was a Nazi.
It would appear the catholic church is trying to reinvigorate the witch hunts, only this time it’s gays!
Finally let’s look at the fact the catholic church has paid out tons of money because of this issue. In other words, the catholic church is guilty. To try and minimize that guilt by placing blame on others is nothing more then a insulting “slight-of-hand magicians trick”.

Video: National Kiss In - the time is NOW
Have you ever heard of a heterosexual couple being arrested for kissing?
Me either!
Last christmas a lesbian couple was arrested in a San Antonio Mall for kissing. A mall spokeswoman stated kissing is inappropriate and anyone caught doing so would be asked to leave. Of course we are supposed to beleive not one single heterosexual couple kissed in that mall during the christmas holidays! rrrrrrriiiiiggghhhhhtttttt
Recently in El Paso a group of men were asked to leave a mexican food restaurant because of a peck on the cheek. The were told to 'stop that faggot stuff'. A police officer told them they could be arrested for it.
Recently in Salt Lake City a couple was detained and harassed for a kiss on the cheek.
It's time for a NATIONAL KISS IN.

Salt Lake City Kissing Protest
As we heard recently two gay men were assaulted by Mormon security, detained and issued citations by the Salt Lake city police simply because of a peck on the cheek.
Of course we all know about Mormon bigotry and hypocrisy all to well.
But there is an interesting story behind the property in question.
The property is the Salt Lake City Main Street Plaza. It is not fenced since the city retains public easement right of way.
But the fact the property even belongs to the church is appauling.
Back when the property was sold to the church the majority of Salt Lake city council members were mormons. In fact, the only two city council members who were not mormons voted against it.
Speaking of voting, it's a bit ironic that the mormons obtained this property without the vote of the citizens in Salt Lake city.
The mormons who feel so strongly that the people should vote on marriage rights obviously don't feel it's important for people to vote on property rights.
Due to this whole fiasco citizens have been holding "kiss-ins" in the area.

LGBT Civil Rights Fight Longer Than All Others
In a world where almost anything is possible it’s easy to expect the unexpected.
To expect the unexpected shows a thoroughly modern intellect.
Oscar Wilde
Of course we all favor what is important in our lives. So we hope our desires will be met. But, some would say, it’s selfish to think solely of our own desires.
So we hope we aren’t a minority because it’s not possible to be equally considered if we aren’t part of the majority. After all our society is federalist by design and it’s all about the numbers, right?
I guess that part about “All Men are created equal” was a slip of the tounge.
We’ve seen women obtain civil rights during women’s suffrage. They were a minority. It took 21 years before states started to pass laws in support of women and another 50 years before the federal government would act. Totaling 71 years for federal recognition.
We’ve seen the African American community fight for their civil rights. They were a minority. It took them 80 years to receive federal recognition.
I’m part of the gay civil rights movement. We are a minority. Our fight started in 1924 when The Society for Human Rights, in Chicago, became the country's earliest known gay rights organization. It’s been 85 years so far!
So many seem to feel Stonewall was the start of the LGBT Civil Rights Movement.
I hope this information clears up the confusion.
