The Falls: Testament of Love picks up five years after the doomed romance between Mormon missionaries RJ and Chris.  (see  The Falls, below).  Though their lives have taken radically different paths, the death of a mutual friend unexpectedly reunites the two men at a time when both are attempting to establish their adult lives.  As old feelings of love and regret are rekindled, RJ and Chris must once again confront their seemingly impossible love.  Will their reunion prove that they're fated to be together, or is it merely a temporary fantasy?

Richard Ross, Co-President of Breaking Glass Pictures and a producer on the film said, "It was always evident that audiences fell in love with The Falls and that there was a desire to continue the story.  Jon crafted a beautiful and heartbreaking film about love, fate, desire and destiny."

SO  SO  SEXY!~   Blake  McIver.

This year we had Steve Grand, then Eli Lieb, now Blake McIver.  A year of sexy gay male singers!  Jake's voice is enough to carry the song, and the music itself is quite pretty. You will not be disappointed with this song. While Steve Grand is more country rock and Eli Lieb is more alternative rock, Blake's song is more of a Pop ballad but that's what sets him apart from all the new out artists who are breaking through and finding a big audience. Do not pass Blake up. He's great!   Plus Blake serves up a serious dose of sexiness.

He's also a go-go dancer. Said McIver to Inside Edition: "It's hard when you've been blessed to have success at a young age, and then you wake up at 18 and no one cares anymore...There's no shame to getting paid to dance around in your underwear."  - HELL NO!

Are gay people Aliens??  WTF??

ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION  while watching singing competitions recently (ie  X Factor and The Voice) the JUDGES   told  the female singers  to do this or that for the male viewers...and likewise  they told male singers to do this of that for the female  fans.  WHAT? What about the gay fans?  Don't we matter?

Why  in this day and age, do we endure these homophobic comments?

Why are not gays people's feeling considered?

Check out the Kmart studs in the retailer's crazy Christmas cross-promotion with Joe Boxer via Draftfcb in Chicagoâ€"swaying their sacks to chime out their own impressive version of the holiday standard. That's some musical junk right there. It caps an offbeat year for agency and client, stretching from "Ship My Pants" through last week's evil-filled "Boardroom" spot. Sometimes it's just better to be on the naughty list.

This is a must see!

HUNTING SEASON is a new smash hit comedy series based on the funny and painfully truthful blog of ALEX, a single gay 20-something in Manhattan, a smart and successful blogger at Gawker by day, who turns the spotlight on himself and his friends and starts anonymously writing about his social life. Based on the wildly popular blog, The Great Cock Hunt, and the novel of the same title published by Kensington Books.

THE SERIES launched on September 12, 2012 at LogoTV.com with the UNCENSORED version available for paid download only at huntingseason.tv.

The cast is uber sexy! The show is witty, smart and did I say, sexy?! It has won awards and lots of great press!  It looks and feels like REAL TV! It's not some web series filmed with a cheap camera in someone's backyard. Over 100 people worked on season one. IT'S QUALITY. It's gay and real!

HELP THEM MAKE SEASON 2!

"We have just launched a Kickstarter campaign to ask for your help in funding a second season. The creator of the show paid for season one out of his own pocket, and then took out loans to finish it. The sales of downloads paid back the loans and proved how big the audience was for the show. But all the conversations we had with networks and advertisers did not pan out and we must turn to the fans of the show to make more episodes."

IF WE DON’T HIT OUT KICKSTARTER GOAL, THERE WON’T BE A SEASON 2.

Alex and his friends’s stories are just getting started. There is so much more of the world we want to bring you.

Following the release of "Kings Of New York 2" featuring the illustrious Tanning Mom, gay porn mogul Michael Lucas has set his sights on a more serious issue deeply affecting his home country: the climate of fear and violence plaguing Russia's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Adult filmmaker Michael Lucas has long used his fame as a platform to speak out about causes he holds near and dear, and as a Russia-born gay man it’s unsurprising that his next project is a full-length documentary that will raise more awareness for the atrocities being committed against LGBT people in his native country.

Lucas is trying to  raise funds to complete the film titled The Campaign of Evil: Russia and Gay Propaganda with a Kickstarter campaign. He explains why this is a passion project for him....

Since growing up as a confused gay child in the former Soviet Union, it has been my dream to show the world a vision of what it is like to be a member of the LGBT community in my former homeland.

As most of the world moves forward toward gay equality, Russia is seemingly heading backward. Antigay sentiment and legislation are spreading rapidly throughout the country. Earlier this year, the Russian parliament passed a ban on so-called “gay propaganda” that effectively makes nearly any public discussion of gay equality a crime. The city of Moscow has outlawed Gay Pride parades for the next 100 years. Adoption of Russian children is forbidden to citizens of any foreign country that permits gay marriage.

And legislation is now being considered that would permit the Russian government to remove gay people’s children from their homes. The Kremlin has chosen the LGBT community as its scapegoat in a populist campaign against supposedly decadent “Western” values, and there are ominous signs of much worse to come. Violent attacks against Russian gays or suspected gays are more and more common. Videos of young LGBT people being taunted and tortured have been widely distributed on the Internet.

Donate to Lucas’ campaign to complete the documentary here.  - He could really bank roll it himself....

MOST of these kids find gay marriage so acceptable!

DID YOU KNOW.......

As of 2002, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) developed national standards and started the National Organic Program http://www.ams.usda.gov/AMSv1.0/nop for organic food production and handling.

USDA Organic labeling is broken down into 4 subcategories.

  • 100% Organic (contains 100% organic ingredients. E.g. a piece of fruit)
  • Organic (Contains 95% or more organic ingredients)
  • Made With Organic Ingredients (70% or more organic ingredients)
  • < 70% Organic Ingredients ( < 70% organic ingredients)

All Manna Organics products contain between 95% and 100% organic and are therefore certified "Organic" by Quality Assurance International (QAI), which means that an organic certification organization, accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture, has validated that products labeled as "organic" meet the defined organic standards.

The latest artist and  alcoholic beverage collaboration comes in the form of Jeff Koons‘s new bottle for Dom Perignon. To mark the occasion, Koons created a limited edition 2-foot sculpture based on his pre-existing 8-foot Balloon Venus sculpture .

Those interested can pick up the sculpture for a cool £15,500 GBP (approximately $24,943 USD) on a made-to-order basis. Furthermore, Jeff Koons has designed limited edition Dom Perignon boxes, pictured above, to celebrate his collaboration with the champagne brand.

"I know that my mother will want one,” Koons said, smiling. “But I hope a lot of collectors, people who are already involved with my work, will give these as gifts to their friends.” A bargain when you consider the recent news that Koons’s Balloon Dog is estimated to sell at auction this November for $35 to $55 million.

Our new guest author Robert Kingett was featured on Digital Journal this week, talking about how he hopes  his reporting will educate and inspire.
"I think that the biggest misconception people have is that blind people sit in a corner and suck their thumb." Kingett, 24, says he is devoted to combatting that stereotype by being an active reporter, studying journalism and writing articles on DigitalJournal.com on accessibility issues.
Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. That could be the motto for Kingett, a Chicago writer and LGBT activist who is no stranger to adversity.

According to an article in New York Times this week,  gay marriage is not for all gay couples.

Now that same-sex couples in 14 states have all the rights and responsibilities of straight married couples, gay couples are rushing to the altar, right? Not exactly. Plenty of gay couples do not want to marry, and their reasons are as complex â€" and personal â€" as any decision to wed.

For some, marriage is an outdated institution, one that forces same-sex couples into the mainstream. For others, marriage imposes financial burdens and legal entanglements. Still others see marriage not as a fairy tale but as a potentially painful chapter that ends in divorce. And then there are those for whom marriage goes against their beliefs, religious or otherwise.

“Bridegroom” is a documentary film by director Linda Bloodworth Thomason (“Designing Women”) that tells the emotional journey of Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship that was cut tragically short.  The story of what happened after Tom's accidental deathâ€" of how people in relationships without the legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracized by family members â€" is poignant, thought provoking and sheds more light on the issue of marriage equality and human rights.

On the anniversary of Tom’s death, after a year of documenting his own grief, Shane decided to make a video tribute to his partner entitled “It Could Happen to You.” The video went viral and has garnered over four million views.  Although it was a cathartic process for Shane and a tribute to the love of his life, more than anything, he wanted it to serve as a warning to other LGBT couples, and to show the world what can happen when two people are legally barred from having equal rights and protections that are granted to others under marriage laws.

The film has earned numerous accolades, including audience awards at the TriBeca Film Festival, where it was introduced by President Bill Clinton, and Outfest Los Angeles Film Festival.  Shane continues to work alongside organizations including GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign to promote equality, and received the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Award in 2012.  "Bridegroom" will be available on DVD on November 19, 2013.

How awful. An off-duty police constable and his TV engineer partner were killed when they plunged 20ft into a construction site after hoardings gave way. - Reports  The Standard. -

The “bizarre, tragic accident” happened near Euston station as British Transport Police officer Gavin Brewer, 32, and his boyfriend Stuart Meads, 34, who had worked on The Weakest Link, returned home from a night out.

An official source confirmed to the Standard that the men had leaned on boards round the building site on the corner of Hampstead Road and Netley Street. The boards then gave way.

The men fell into the hole â€" believed to be an uncovered roof light for a basement flat â€" and suffered fatal injuries. London Ambulance Service said both were pronounced dead at the scene.   READ  MORE  at  The Standard

HIV Equal is a national multimedia campaign that aims to end HIV stigma and promote HIV testing by creating a social art movement.

The concept of HIV Equal was created by Jack Mackenroth, a long time HIV activist and Project Runway alumnus, and celebrity photographer, Thomas Evans.

The campaign photos include people from all walks of life who support the concept that regardless of one’s HIV status, we are all equally valuable. To help promote HIV testing, every person who takes part in the campaign will also be tested for HIV

As the campaign grows, this will help take the fear out of HIV testing. And as young people see their role models in the photos, they will want to become a part of the HIV Equal movement, as well.

Heading up the testing portion of the campaign is Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gary Blick, who understands the urgency of outreach especially to the younger generations.

My fingers hover over the keyboard, spread as if they are spiders who are confused on how to make a web.

I’m resting at the forefront of my dating regime, at a desk in my apartment trying to think of something about me that the members of this gay dating site need to know. Ironically this part of the initiation is the hardest.

The signup was easy for my adaptive computer technology that robotically tells me everyone’s messages, height, and weight. There weren’t any words I had to type to verify my identity, there weren’t any advertisements sprinkled into a profile detailing a guy who likes to pretend to fly with toy airplanes. Everything is smooth like melted butter until this part in the acquaintance, the about me.

My thought process seems to have a planned detour; as if my brain schemed how it was going to depart at the exact moment I need it to work its magic. First, dictation, then there’s deliberation, then debating, then dumbstruck diatribe. My fingers don’t move but deductions springs into my mind like a sweptback gymnast.

People will marvel at my eloquence for words upon first glance so this will whisk me up to an 80% on the attraction slider. When they talk with me verbally however, I’m sure the stammer will jab me down to 45%.

When people read that I have a white cane my dating chances will shoot down to 30%. I know this figure based on experience. To boost my score perhaps I should entice them first with facts about my journalism work where I detail LGBT news and issues, and couple that with my obsessive love for mint chocolate chip ice cream and pony rides. If I do that my percentage will shoot up to 45% because everybody loves chocolate ice cream way before mint.

For the last two years, a small group of people have been producing a film that will hopefully make a huge impact on your life. Not only will it make you laugh, think, and get a big old lump in your throat, but hopefully, it will help you rethink some really important stereotypes you might carry with you.

1960’s in Hidden Hills, California. A handsome real estate agent, Drew Drake finds himself in a secret relationship that has become an overbearing lie. For seven years he has secretly been dating and living with his business partner Whitey Ford. None of his friends know. The issue isn’t that they’re gay. Nearly everyone in Hidden Hills is gay. (Straight people are the ones hiding in the closet.) The problem is that both Drew and Whitey are Caucasian.

No one dates the same race! It’s a social taboo. Will Drew Drake have the nerve to buck societal norms and come clean about his love for Whitey Ford? Can two white men admit their love for each other and take their relationship to the next level â€" marriage?

Starring Ted Trent and Tim O’Leary, Hidden Hills is a comedy that looks at race, sexuality, aging, and weight issues, flipping the world upside down in a 72 minute feature film that mimics the classic styling of Rock Hudson and Doris Day movies. Also featuring up and coming Hollywood talent including Joy Sudduth (Criminal Minds), Wendy Shapero (Robot Chicken), and Chris Fennessy (Zoey 101) and a performance of an original song by Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go’s. The movie was written and directed by Dan Steadman (Red Lodge) whose first project Jesus People: The Movie is to be released in early 2014. It features Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) and Academy Award® winner Octavia Spencer (The Help).

BRIDEGROOM is the MUST SEE  LGBT Movie of the year!

It started with a heart wrenching video that went viral overnight. On May 7, 2012, the anniversary of Tom’s death, after a year of documenting his own grief, Shane decided to make a video tribute to his partner entitled “It Could Happen To You.” This film, posted on YouTube, received over 3.4 million views and has been translated into over 20 different languages. The impact of Shane’s YouTube video and the raw nerve it touched, tells us this is an important story that needs to be told.

With the incredible support from influential people like Brad and George Takei and Neil Patrick Harris, Bridegroom was successfully funded on July 19, 2012 by over 6,500 people on Kickstarter.com becoming the most funded documentary in the history of crowd funding, and released in the fall of 2013.

BRIDEGROOM is a documentary directed by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason that tells the emotional journey of Shane and Tom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship â€" a relationship that was cut tragically short by a misstep off the side of a roof. The story of what happened after this accidental deathâ€" of how people without the legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracizedâ€" is poignant, enraging and opens a window onto the issue of marriage equality like no speech or lecture ever will.

OWN Network will premiere the movie October 27th!

“This is really, on one level, a wonderful, sad, heart-breaking yet exhilarating and life-affirming story, and on another level, it’s a story about our nation’s struggle to take one more step in forming a more perfect union, for which marriage is both the symbol and substance,” said former President Bill Clinton of the film.

Shane  Crone also added “BRIDEGROOM  is not about revenge or politics. It is a film about love, forgiveness, and about finding the courage to be who you are when the world says you shouldn’t. This is my fairy tale, and Tom is, and always will be, my happy ending.”

GUEST  AUTHOR - ROBERT KINGETT

For those who don't know me, and that would be a lot of you, I'm a bibliophile. My vast array of bookshelves is stacked with dozens of audio books, causing the shelf to topple over like a lopsided tower. I love books, and I love the character developments, the plots, and thriving stories hat books can hold between the spines. I've read some amazing books, and then again I've read some books that I've never want to speak of again because it leaves a bad ringing in my ears.

I never usually get into erotica books, but with the eloquent urging of all my hip unliterary friends I decided that I'd read fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. I want to see just why this book is so very popular. I get recommendations from people all the time on Goodreads, so why is this book so popular? Is it the dashing romance, the zesty sex scenes, or the riveting character depth? I don't know.

Usually when I look at a book, I look at the synopsis of the book to try and gage what I'll be in store for. I wonder what the back of this book says.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating.

Is it just me but after twilight by Stephenie Meyer came out all the men seem to have the same abusive controlling elements as Edward? I don't know. This does sound interesting though. Nothing about gay black men or even straight black men for that matter. I'm sad now… I need Morgan freeman to hold me and give me God powers. I need to have Denzel Washington wrap me up in a nice bear hug and have his sexy new Yorkers voice put me to sleep with him reading my Miranda rights…

"You have a right to have sex wit me. Anyting you say will get me hard and then I'll have to arrest you with my passion… anyway… Let's keep reading!
