Hello, my name is Tom. I’m a 53 year-old gay man with many years of technical expertise behind me. I am the creator of www.GayTalkRadio.org.
Most people have the Internet and a computer with speakers, making Internet Radio a powerful media outlet. Unlike terrestrial radio, Internet Radio has the capability of reaching a world-wide audience.
GayTalkRadio is new and just now getting its feet wet but we hope to one day be a hub for LGBTQIA information, resources and entertainment.
Once we get a regular show lineup we will provide live shows as well as podcast shows which can be heard any time of day or night.
We offer the ability for anyone to have a Internet Radio show. In these beginning stages I am personally operating the switchboard for incoming calls as well as storing and playing sounds clips for show hosts. In other words, the host simply calls in and talks while I take care of the technical side.
We truly want GayTalkRadio to be community driven. We hope the LGBTQIA community will direct GayTalkRadio with comments, suggestions and talent. We all know our community is full of talent. We simply need to get it on the air.
With GayTalkRadio I am offering the easiest way to make that possible.
GayTalkRadio at this point is much like a blank canvass ready for greatness.
It is our hope GayTalkRadio be community supported but until that point, commercial advertisement will be accepted.
GayTalkRadio currently accepts phone calls, skype calls and yahoo calls during live shows in order for listeners to be heard.
We also have email and voicemail systems available for use during or after live shows.
With your help, GayTalkRadio will become a focal point for fun as well as information and resources.
GayTalkRadio is currently available at www.GayTalkRadio.org and plays music the majority of the time. You will most likely notice the quality of the audio is better than a FM Radio station.
