When Anthony Woods first appeared on the scene I was excited.
I ran right over and joined his groups, showed my support and invited him to be on GayTalkRadio. My response? Dead silence! No response what-so-ever.
This didn't seem right to me. Not even a "thanks but no thanks". He simply ignored me, without even so much as a wink of recognition.
That's all I needed to convince me this man was not what I thought he was.
Folks, if this man finds it so easy to ignore a member of the LGBT community, during his campaigning, I suggest to you he won't have a problem ignoring more of us later.
To claim you are an advocate for the LGBT community and totally dismiss it's community members. Well that sounds very similar to another man of color currently in the white house.
In my opinion Anthony Woods is another politician trying to leverage our community in his favor simply for votes.
More and more we hear about HRC, GLAAD, PFLAG and other groups claiming support for this and that. I suggest to you folks, these organizations have also lost validity. None of this has anything to do with what's right and wrong anymore.
It has everything to do with money.
